Imagine sinking your teeth into a juicy, locally-sourced sausage while sipping on a refreshing Oregon beer. For Redmond, that dream will soon become a reality. Bangers and Brews, the beloved restaurant known for its unique blend of sausage-based dishes and craft beer, plans to open its newest location in Redmond this summer.

Located in the former Hutch’s Bicycle Shop, Bangers and Brews is thrilled to bring its one-of-a-kind dining experience to the vibrant community of Redmond. Get ready to experience the same commitment to quality, sustainability, and community that has made Bangers and Brews a must-visit destination—and local favorite—in Oregon.

First Central Oregon Franchise

The newest Bangers and Brews in Redmond will be the first of its kind: a Central Oregon franchise. While Bangers and Brews has sold franchises of their number-one restaurant on Yelp! in other cities, this franchise will be the first in the area.

“We are thrilled to bring Bangers and Brews to Redmond and introduce our unique dining experience to the local community,” said Marcelo Garcia, Bangers and Brews’ Founder. “Our team is committed to sourcing the highest quality ingredients and creating memorable meals that celebrate the flavors of the Argentine and Pacific Northwest. [We look forward to] becoming a part of the Redmond community.”

The Redmond location will essentially “replace” the current Eastside Bangers and Brews. While Bangers and Brews East has already closed its doors, the Redmond location plans to retain its staff.

Locals Nights, Football, and More

Bangers and Brews Redmond will bring more than just their delicious sausage dishes and craft beer to Redmond. The restaurant has big plans to give back with frequent fundraisers. Here, they’ll highlight local non-profits and a feature special weekly events for community members. During their locals nights, you can expect exclusive pricing on craft beers along with their signature “Bangers and Mash” while mingling with neighbors.

But that’s not all that’s on the menu. The Redmond location is also offering unique food specials like Wisconsin cheese curds and homemade bratwurst meatballs. And, for football fans, Sundays just got even better. With a breakfast menu and sound-on showings of all Green Bay Packers games, Bangers and Brews will surely be a favorite among local Cheeseheads.

“You will find a sport-centric, family-friendly restaurant with a Midwest twist,” says Matt Bardy, owner of Bangers and Brews’ new Redmond location. They’ll also be the first Packers Everywhere supporter bar in Central Oregon. Here, they’ll feature a 900-square-foot upstairs area dedicated to the Wisconsin football team.

“The focus is family and community,” says Bardy, who will co-run the restaurant alongside his father. And, for their family, bringing the Midwest to Central Oregon is especially important. “We support all sports, and will [stream] baseball, football, hockey, soccer, and more. But Packers fans in Central Oregon now officially have a home at Bangers and Brews Redmond!”

Neighborhood Favorite

Expect many of your Bangers and Brews favorites at the Redmond location, plus some fun new additions. Bardy is excited to partner with future neighbors, Cascade Lakes Brewing 7th Street Pub, to make an IPA sausage. “We’re really excited to be neighbors with them,” he gushes.

Patrons can also expect a few twists on the Redmond menu. The Bardys—Chicago natives—will replace the Seattle Dog with a Chicago Dog. And, gluten-free visitors can look forward to bun-free alternatives. Options will include your choice of sausage served over fries, salad, mashed potatoes, or sweet pot fries. (Mac and cheese will still be an option, but is not gluten-free).

Bangers and Brews will have plenty of kid-friendly options, a dog-friendly patio, and offer a “mug club” to complement their ten rotating and staple tap handles.

quote

I wanted to share more than where to eat, but what to eat. And not just what, but why? From where is the food resourced? Should it be paired with a beer, or a cocktail—and what kind? But most importantly, share the faces and tell the stories behind the people who make it all happen, showing support for small business in and around Bend.
